The Raedlinger company group welcomes 22 new apprentices and two students from a work-study program

As the apprenticeship or work-study year started, 24 young people started out on a new and exciting part of their life with the Raedlinger company group. At the main headquarters in Windischbergerdorf near Cham, Managing Director Josef Rädlinger welcomed the new employees and wished them every success and lots of fun in the learning the professions they have chosen.

This year, Rädlinger has apprentices in nine different professions. Alongside commercial apprenticeships, many young people are also favouring the technical field and starting apprenticeships as technical draughtsmen/-women, materials inspectors, surveyors or mechanics.

As well as theoretical knowledge and practical skills, the 22 apprentices and two dual students will also be developing their social competence during their apprenticeship or practical work within the company. Josef Rädlinger stressed the importance of fair and productive cooperation between the company divisions, departments and individual colleagues in particular: "Cooperation is vital for your own professional success, but also for the success of the company and thus for securing around 1,200 jobs at Rädlinger." Later, he added that he fully trusted the company's latest additions to live out these values and carry them further.

The young people spent their first day mainly getting their bearings and finding out more about the company, the trainers and their future colleagues. The 15 apprentices at the headquarters in Cham are training with the Rädlinger construction company, mechanical engineering company or Raedlinger Primus Line. A further seven young employees were welcomed at the other sites and branches of the Rädlinger construction company in Vilshofen, Selbitz and Leipzig, as well as at the training centre in Schwandorf.

The Raedlinger group trains interested and dedicated young people in a whole range of technical and commercial professions every year. The application process for 2015 is already under way.
