Ground-breaking ceremony at Herzo Base

A new residential area for the town of Herzogenaurach is being developed on the disused airfield and former US army base Herzo Base. The implementation of several years of planning is to begin with the ground-breaking ceremony at the end of October. Rädlinger Bauunternehmen is undertaking the initial development work. The earth moved, e.g. during the work on storm water retention reservoirs, will not be removed for ecological reasons, but will initially be stored and incorporated into the landscape design. By the middle of 2015, the development work is to be completed and the construction of the homes can begin.
