New boring and milling machine ready for use from August

In the past year, Rädlinger has added a boring and milling machine to its machinery. After time-consuming installation and thorough preparation, the new five-axis boring and milling machine Soraluce FR-16000 / 5226 can now finally be put into operation. Particularly large and heavy workpieces and complicated welded structures of up to 40 tonnes can be processed flexibly with it. The head that can be swivelled on two axes and a tool changing system for 80 tools allow boring and milling work on workpieces with a length of up to 15,500 mm, a depth of up to 1600 mm and a maximum height of 3600 mm. The boring and milling machine is designed for maximum precision. It allows quick and precise processing without reclamping and, therefore, an extremely efficient workflow.
