Successful première: charity run at Rädlinger Lake

More than 600 runners got involved for the good cause at the first charity run around Rädlinger Lake on 10th August. This far exceeded the expectations of the patron Petra Rädlinger and the organisers. A team of almost 30 employees started the race for the Rädlinger Group. As well as team runners from companies and clubs, individual runners also showed complete commitment after Petra Rädlinger gave the starting signal. Not surprising; after all, the many participants were doing something positive, circuit by circuit, not only for themselves, but also for the children and families that are supported by Kinderkrebshilfe Cham (a charity supporting children suffering from cancer). A tick was made on the running cards for each two kilometre circuit. Everything was permitted, from sprinting and jogging to walking. The sponsors or the participants themselves donated a certain amount per circuit. The extent of the final proceeds that can be handed over to Kinderkrebshilfe Cham is yet to be confirmed.

There was a lovely end to the successful première of the first charity run at the Rädlinger Lake with music and good food, which the participants of all ages had earned. And the patron Petra Rädlinger has already revealed that there could be a repeat run next year.
