Charity run at Rädlinger Lake nominated as Initiative of the Month

On 10th August 2013, the Rädlinger Lake is to provide the setting for a run for a good cause. The charity run in aid of Kinderkrebshilfe Cham (a charity supporting children suffering from cancer) is to last six hours, and donations are to be collected for each circuit run.

But the organisers already have reason to be proud: The “1st Rädlinger Lake 6 hour charity run” was nominated as the Initiative of the Month of May in the nationwide competition Mission Olympic.

Anyone who can find a sponsor for their completed laps or who sponsors themselves for the good cause can take part in the run, which is held under the patronage of Petra Rädlinger. You have the opportunity to race with some of the best “extreme marathon runners” in Germany. The places for sponsored runners can be booked by companies and private individuals. You can find further information on the sponsored run here.
