First summer night festival of the Rädlinger company group

For the entire staff of the Rädlinger company group, a summer night festival took place for the first time on Saturday, 25th July 2009, at the Satzdorfer See lake near the company headquarters in Windischbergerdorf. The company management invited all employees and their families to celebrate with each other in a communal festival.

Satzdorfer See was purposely selected as the location of the event, which symbolizes the roots of the Rädlinger company, as well as providing the appropriate ambience. More than 45 years ago, with gravel extraction at the so-called "Rädlinger Weiher", Josef Rädlinger Sen. laid the foundation stone for his company, which today employs approximately 1200 employees.

With more than 1000 guests in total, the first Rädlinger summer night festival was a complete success. Many employees managed to travel to Cham from outlying Rädlinger subsidiaries in order to meet colleagues from the company headquarters.

The first employee party of Rädlinger started as early as in the afternoon with a colorful children's program. With coach drives around the lake or boat trips with the water rescue service, there was no time for boredom. Furthermore, many children attempted abseiling down the so-called "slack-line", which was organized by the mountain rescue service. For the staff, there was a grill with musical accompaniment organized in the main tent.

With Bengali fire, as well as fireworks on the island of the lake, the first Rädlinger summer night festival ended later that night. The employees who camped out with their families at Satzdorfer See were awoken in the morning with breakfast.
